Easily Create a Lead Capture Page That Converts Like Crazy

Most people have no idea how to create a lead capture page that converts visitors into leads. Unfortunately many lead capture pages are slopped together without compelling ad copy and the key triggers that get people interested in an offer.

In this article you will discover why certain landing pages convert like crazy while others don’t. You will also learn some pin point accurate techniques to make your next lead capture page project a huge success.

One major problem that people run into creating capture pages is how to write compelling copy. If you are a beginning copy writer or someone who has trouble with skill than it’s important to study copywriting or hire someone to help you with the process.

Here are a few tips to help you out with lead capture page copy writing:

#1 - It is important to use a of compelling sales points with powerful psychological triggers. Most people who create a sales page miss either one or both of those elements.

#2 - Concentrate on building enthusiasm with a little bit of hype BUT make sure to clearly explain what solution you are providing and for whom you are providing it for. If I don’t have a specific problem that you’re solving you are not going to convert traffic into leads.

#3 - Sprinkle in psychological triggers, such as “Proven to Work”, “Revealed”, and “Insider Secrets”. These buzz words will compel your visitors to continue reading your copy and raise the perceived value of your offer.

#4 - Make sure your lead capture page has a smooth flow. If the copy looks amateurish and it doesn’t slowly grind forward you won’t break down your visitor’s resistance to the sale, or opting in to become a lead.

#5 - Personalize your copy by using your name, location and even a picture of yourself throughout your page. This not only builds credibility but also lets people know that there is a real person behind the offer they are reading on the website.

In addition to careful copywriting, there are other important things you must take into consideration when writing a lead capture page that converts. For instance, it is important to build a compelling case for a limited time offer.

Now, this doesn’t mean you have to invent fake deadlines and constantly revise them each week. However, you will want to make sure that you constantly urge the reader to act immediately by inserting a number of “calls to action” along the way.

Here is an example of a “call to action”:

“Don’t Wait… I’m Only Planning On Giving Away 50 Copies of My “Internet Cashflow” Report Before I Pull It Offline For Good - Grab Your FREE Copy NOW Before It’s Too Late!”

As you can see, I’m creating a sense of urgency or “call to action” to get my prospect to act quickly and make a decision. Not only does this call to action build perceived value for my offer but it also gives the prospect direction on what I want them to do.

Creating a quality lead capture page doesn’t have to be a long drawn out process either and sometimes less is more. Rather than building a compelling case with multiple triggers and calls to action over the course of 1000+ words, you may want to simply condense that all into a compelling headline and one paragraph of the “benefits” of your offer.

You will find that you can sky rocket your opt-in rates with this technique unless the visitor a) doesn’t see any benefits from taking you up on your offer and b) suspects that you will spam them or sell their email address and information.

Both of these problems are easy to overcome though by doing a few small things. First, in your headline simply state the exact benefits they will receive for joining or “opting in” to your list. In your first paragraph of copy, give them a compelling reason to join now (i.e., the price might go up, the list might become private, grab a copy of my amazing report).

Now, to overcome the second problem, simply include a short line under your opt-in form that explains that you will not spam them or sell their email address and name. This is known as your “terms and conditions” or “privacy policy”.

Here is an example “Privacy Policy” I like to use:

“Please Note: I respect you privacy and your information will only be used to deliver the materials relating to my incredible limited time offer (No Spam – EVER). All contact information must be accurate or valuable materials will not be delivered.”

You can even put your phone number and name in your privacy policy to help with the credibility of your promise not to spam or sell the prospects information.

In closing, creating a lead capture page that converts like crazy isn’t as hard as you might think. Simply exercise some of the techniques outlined in this article to put yourself on the fast track to lead generation and opt-in list building success.

How Many Network Marketers Does It Take To Change A Lightbulb?

* The Internet Marketer:

First I’ll buy 10,000 leads and load them in my autoresponder.

Then who ever comes out the bottom, I’ll teach to load 20,000 names in to their autoresponder and who comes out the bottom of them, we’ll teach to load 30,000 names in to their autoresponder…hopefully someone on the 10th level down will get around to actually changing the dang bulb.

* The Professional Course Buyer:

Sure, I’d love to change the bulb. I can do it! But first, I’ll need to buy the latest book from my favorite guru on how to do it, then purchase 32 e-books of worthless value, just to have them laying on my Hard Drive (someday I may actually read them…), then I’ve got to search the Internet for the best free information on changing light bulbs and buy a 16 CD ROM course on the subject, and I’ve got to get subscriptions to all the light bulb changing magazines…

After I study for a couple of years, I can then go out with confidence and get the job done.

* The Cold Caller

Hey, I can change that bulb, no problem. But first I’d better do a search and find the best leads out there. Then I’m going to buy a couple of “guaranteed opt in lists” that have people on them that have specifically answered an ad for my light bulb changing opportunity.

Then I’ll sort through the lists and delete the ones I don’t think will make it, and then well, next week I’ll actually have 10 minutes to get around to really calling those leads…and for sure, I’m going to find that one right person who is going to make me $10,000 a week changing the light bulbs for me!

* The Conference Call Junkie

Hey, no problem, I’ll get that bulb changed. But I’d better wait until after next Tuesday’s conference call that will show me how to hold that bulb in just the right way to get the most out of the experience.

* The “I’m Getting Ready” to Change The Bulb Guy

It’s on my “to do” list. Right up there at the top. It will get done. But first, let’s see, I’d better re-arrange my desk so I won’t be distracted, and next I’d better take out the trash, and next I’d better sharpen my pencil, and next I’d better get ready to get ready to get ready to change that bulb…

But hey, it’s on my list…

* The Loser

You want me to do what?

Me???

You’ve got to be kidding, and you actually mean I have to spend a dollar to buy the bulb first, man you’re nuts if you think I’m going to really change a light bulb.

I got into this cause “they said” I wouldn’t have to do anything or spend anything…they’d do all the work for me!

* The I Need To Make Money Now Guy

Hey, this sounds great! They told me I could make $20,000 changing light bulbs. Where do I start.

Hey, what do you mean I’ve got to send out a thousand post cards a month and call all these responses and pay for ads in newspapers and call all the responses and …what? You mean I actually have to spend the money for those ads myself?

Doesn’t the company pay for all these ads?

And what? You mean it might take 4 to 5 years of doing that every month?

What are you Nuts? I can’t do that. I need to make money NOW. Hmmmmm, where’s that lottery card I had laying around here?

* The Reason Why Not Guy

Hey this sounds exciting, making money changing light bulbs. But, what would my spouse say?
But, that would actually take an hour of my time…
But, I’ve got to go bowling with the guys tonight…
But, my favorite TV show is on!
But, well, sure I want to make money, but I don’t have the extra $25 bucks to join.
But, the guy down where I work, his best friend’s great uncle tried that and he didn’t have any success so it probably wouldn’t work for me either.
But, this isn’t like Amway isn’t it?
But, this is a pyramid thingy…
But, I couldn’t talk to my friends and relatives about this…
But, I don’t have the time
But, I don’t know enough people
But, …ad-nauseam

* The Triple, Double Diamond Pearl

Done! Give me 144 cases more to change, I’ve got the time and energy and ambition to do it now. I’ll also get a couple hundred more cases for all the active distributors in my downline and have them changed by the end of the week.

(I’m not sure who the author of this is, but I saw it online the other day and got a good laugh out of it ;-)

3 Important Qualities All Entrepreneurs Need To Succeed

One of the biggest myths about starting a business is that you’re destined for failure unless you have natural skills for business. In other words, if you weren’t born to be an entrepreneur then you are going to be sunk before you ever get started. Needless to say, this is an untrue notion. While there are a number of skills that you absolutely must have to be a successful business person, if you are aware of your strengths and weaknesses there are ways for you to develop those skills along the way.

Here is a list of 3 important skills that all entrepreneurs must harness in order to be successful.

#1 - Perseverance

Starting a business is like the exponential version of working on a project for school. When you are learning a new concept for that project, you are going to have to go slow and steady. If you just start, do it for a bit and then leave it alone you are going to fail the project. But if you start it and then keep at it little by little, you are going to end up with a successful final product. This is what you need to do in business; you need to keep at it until you get to the point of being successful regardless of the road bumps along the way.

#2 - Thick skin

In the business world, you are going to meet a number of cut-throat individuals that would like nothing better than to see you fail so that they can succeed. While it is good to have business relationships with other individuals, what is not so good is hearing anything negative they say as the gospel and letting it take you out of your game. If you do that, then it won’t take very many negative comments before you throw in the towel on your business for good. Consider taking people’s advice if it is constructive, but don’t listen to anyone that is completely negative.

#3 - Ability to deal with failure

Many people don’t posses this ability and easily give up on something after having one unsuccessful try at it. This must avoid this mindset in business because you’re going to fail at things again and again. The most successful business people of today were failures at some point yesterday and what makes them successful is that they did not give up.

As you can see, these skills can be learned over time. The important thing is to be aware of what skill sets you need and then grade yourself on where you’re at today and what you need to do to improve tomorrow.

Tap Into The Power Of Viral Marketing For Your Home Business

Advertising is the key to success for any home business, as people can’t turn into customers if they don’t know you exist and don’t know how you can meet their needs. Traditional advertising, such as print media has been around since the invention of the printing press and broadcast media soon came after the birth of radio. But despite all the years of using these types of advertising, the internet has cast a new light on how to successfully market a business without spending a fortune.

While the cost of Internet advertising may seem cheap considering the number of potential customers it can reach for businesses that only offer a local product or service advertising globally just may not make sense. If your business is located in Iowa and your advertising appears in England or in Africa, chances are the return on your advertising investment will not be what you expected.

While internet businesses can gain tremendously from internet marketing, it can get expensive over time depending on the type of advertising venue you choose. The best advertising you can hope for is to have others send your message to their friends, free, without being asked and without complaining. This is known as viral marketing.

The use of viral marketing has been growing and simply involves having internet users distributing your advertising message of their own free will. One of first and most successful uses of viral marketing was when companies such as Yahoo began offering free email accounts. A brief advertising message appears at the bottom of every Yahoo email sent, usually including a link for the advertiser. Then whenever people signed up for the free email service, every email they sent out contained an advertisement.

Talk about viral marketing! Unfortunately your business probably doesn’t have the capability to give out free email accounts but you can come up with other great ideas to virally get your message to the masses. Try giving away an eBook you write that shares useful information about your product, service or industry and of course has your advertisement tagged throughout the copy. Another idea is to create an online ezine that people could subscribe to and share with others.

Whatever idea you come up with just remember that people love free stuff and if what you give away has value then your prospects don’t mind recommending others to your business or website. This means massive exposure for your business and you don’t have to spend a dime.

What Is An Opportunity?

Once upon a time all MLMs, network marketing companies or direct sales organizations would tell you that their opportunity was something that any individual could take part in and become a multimillionaire virtually overnight. The greatest pitch and almost standard tag lines used were by people who have and are making millions from this industry. And throughout the years of this industry using the internet as their means to the marketing that is used it has always been pretty successful!

And why wouldn’t it be? Becoming instantly rich by signing up with a company that everybody else was part of seemingly making tons of cash always looks good! As I am writing this article I can remember back to the time when it was that I got the fever for this industry. It was based on the same principle. I was broke and tired of scratching for every dollar just to make ends meet. My rent was late, my family and I ate at home every day and our meals were something of a bore because of the tight budget we were on. It cost me so much money just to keep the 7am.-7pm job at the time as well. Gas, uniforms, insurance, union fees, tools, etc had to be taken from my check every week and it was amazing what that amount was.

But it was that same old “pitch” of getting rich overnight that gave me my original fever and it has not left me to this very day! But in all actuality, did I get rich overnight? No, and just like 75% of people who come into this industry, I failed at my first attempt. I did make a few bucks, but not nearly enough to pay for all the products I was buying, let alone enough to allow me to stop working. As I kept aging over the years, I kept at it with this industry and eventually figured out everything and started to make enough money to finally quit my day job. And from that day forward, I have always worked for myself from my home except for a short 3yr period when I went to work as the Director of Operations of our city’s biggest nutritional MLM networking company. That was 5 yrs ago and now as everyone knows I am cofounder of Big Cash Creator, LLC.

My point is that I did not become rich over night. It took me several attempts and several thousand dollars and almost 2 yrs before I could honestly say that I was one of those persons that could boast about making them gazillions. It took hard work, practice and a ton of learning to finally achieve the success that a lot of companies pitch today that anyone can do it and in a very short time.

Now, don’t get me wrong. There ARE individuals out there that have made a ton of money overnight without having any experience what so ever. And that is the dream of this industry, make no mistake about it!

But in this article I would like to exchange the idea that the opportunity in NOT about making a million bucks over night but something that we can all use in our modern day society that time unfortunately is really driving home for us.

At Big Cash Creator, LLC, we pay a lot of attention to our economy as a whole as well as what is going on politically in the world and the general attitude of society. The truth of the matter is that these factors play a very important role for this industry. It relies solely of what we call, “The Masses”. 99% of all companies out there will tell you that without the masses there can never be a multimillion dollar company. If a company is not bringing in 10s of 1000s of your regular people that are like you and I, then they will ultimately fail. When you ask any leader in any company with the 10K size down lines, they will also tell you that the majority of people in their organizations are simple people with a dream.

Now if we look at any major news network, newspaper or nationally circulated news magazine they all have a good part of their stories and topics based on today’s economy and where it is going. Even with the current political change that is about to take place in the United States, the economy is starting to play a major role in that change. And if we dig deeper we will also see that there are quite a few people out there that feel that our economy is only going to worsen before it gets better. At this point in American history, most people do not see being a millionaire in their futures. Even though we are telling people that “Anyone Can Become a Millionaire”, more and more people are hesitant about taking anything out of their budget to try it out.

Click to watch video at CNN.com. Just the other day on CNN news, there was a story by their financial news anchor about how to budget the family income so that it would be possible to keep up with the rising cost of food. Just with the high cost of fuel, they are already predicting that there will be a whopping 37% less people traveling this holiday Memorial Day weekend. With that in mind and everyone really trying to stretch every dollar they earn, it is only reasonable that more and more people very well may not buy into the whole “Earn a Million Dollars in You First Month” hype. Only a few years back, yes, statistics showed that people would take a chance with a few dollars out of their paycheck or income tax check and take a whirlwind stab at this industry and give it their best shot.

Today however, especially if what the financial experts predicts come true, we are going to find that people are not going to be willing to take that chance. The truth of the matter is that our society can see through that hype and basically figure out that if anybody could do it, why is our economical outlook so bleak?

As I said I would like to exchange the whole meaning of we prospect with the opportunity hype to be an opportunity to make a few extra bucks instead. It is because of our current economical status that I have already started to employ in my day to day prospecting efforts. I no longer tell my prospects that by joining my opportunity they will become rich like me. Instead, what they really respect and take to heart, is that I tell them this is an opportunity to make some extra cash for the possibility of troubled times a head.

If I ask someone if they are going to travel this Memorial Day weekend, and they tell me that they just can’t afford it, then that is my time to shine. I love to tell my prospects that I won’t lie.. It is not everyone that can be another Donald Trump. But what I can tell them and show them is how they can add an extra 100-200 dollars to their family budget by getting into my opportunity and utilizing the tools that I have. And that folks is GOLD right now.

One of the biggest reasons prospects fail to upgrade it they simply feel they cannot afford it or in actually taking a chance with the small budget they have now. But the truth of the matter is with most opportunities these day, anyone really can add that extra income to their already life styles budget and who would not want to do that?

The truth of the matter is that if anyone tells me they can not afford to take a camping trip or take the family out to dinner, I will go to great lengths of laying it out on the table how my opportunity can allow them to do just that! And by joining my opportunity they will be able keep everything they are doing for their budget. No chances taken so to say. The other thing is that it really is true that people do become extremely wealthy in this industry and by starting out with the only goal being to add more money to the budget to compensate for the small things like gas, food, and entertainment they are presented with the ability to become one of those millionaires over time, with effort and motivation.

With this concept of creating a smaller opportunity for today’s financial difficult times, we will soon see that these new type of prospects that are keeping current with their current employment are actually able to bring in more prospects because of they are doing. When standing around the company water fountain or copy machine and your new team mate is telling his or her colleagues that he just came back from a weekend long camping trip with the entire family, they will be approached and want to know exactly how they could afford such a luxury working at the same place. And guess what they will offer in response? The same sort of opportunity that you presented.

Yes, anyone can become a zillionaire in this business. But only if you are able to bring in the masses. And the masses are not going to take a chance with the current opportunity hype, but they will do almost anything including getting 1-2 part time jobs just to make ends meet. Remember that gas alone to drive to yet another part time job costs the same as what most opportunities cost on a monthly basis. But your opportunity not only gives the freedom of not having to buy gas or fuel but allow them to enjoy the little time they currently have with their present full time job. Which would you prefer? I know that my prospects prefer the comfort of their own home and the ability to spend time with their families and especially going into the woods for a couple of days because it can be afforded!

Do Free Replicated Home Business Websites Really Work?

There are numerous offers on the internet that promise to provide you with a free website from which you can make a ton of money, selling their products or services. That’s right, at no cost to you, the company will accept you as a distributor for their products and give you a website and any sales that come from your site will result in a huge commission check. On top of that, if you can recruit more people to accept their free website, then you can receive a commission on their sales as well.

All of this is free and sounds good on paper, but when reality sets in you will soon learn that there is no such thing as a free lunch, or website. Yes, most of these companies will give you a free website, a replication of their own site and it will be configured with your name or company name on the landing page. It will also track the visitors that place orders through your site and yes, they will pay the promised commission. The challenge for you is getting visitors to your specific website.

This is when the free website begins to cost money. For sake of argument, consider a company sells health products and you are now a health product distributor for its brand. Chances are, you have joined a group of more than 100 other websites selling health products for the same company and you all have the same title on your website. A person searching for the company name may end up with a choice of 50 or more sites with the same name as a result of their search, and research shows that most user only look at the first 10, and in rare cases 20, of the top search results.

The odds of a search making your site one of the top searches is extremely low so you will have to become involved in network and online marketing just to make your site standout. Additionally, if you did manage to recruit others into the program, you have added to the competition. Print advertising that includes your specific website name may work, but most internet savvy users know that anything past the “/” (forward slash) in a site name is usually meaningless.

Your site’s name for tracking purposes is for instance, www.supervitaminsales.com/yourname and people only type in supervitaminsales.com, they will end up at the company’s main website. You did the advertising and will receive none of the financial benefit because the sale did not come from your site.

In the end, don’t buy into the hype of free. If you want to become a successful home business owner or network marketer it’s important that you get you own online presence that you have full control over.
